Hello readers and welcome to another English edition of our blog!
The years first typhoon has finally dissipated, but the after effect has left strong winds here in Okinawa.
Unfortunately it looks like parasailing will be out for at least the next few days..
On the other hand, just about everything else is still available so if you’re in the are come on down (well up, really) to Nago and try some of our awesome activities!
So, today with winds high and ocean currents strong we found ourselves a nice calm spot to set up our boat behind Sesoko Island.
With the winds being blocked by the island it was the perfect spot to do some kayaking and snorkeling with these 3!
From both Hong Kong and the USA, these guys were on a family vacation to Okinawa. Really cool people!
After a quick banana boat ride from the beach to the boat, we kick things off with some kayaking!
Being experienced riders they had no problem navigating their way through the shallow reefs of the Island.
This next photo is awesome, just chillin out for a little bit.
I don’t blame her, kayaking is some pretty hard work!
After a quick break, we put our masks and fins on and went for a bit of a swim.
quick mask check lol
You could tell these guys were at home in the water.
Swimming under water? No problem!
Becoming familiar with some sea creatures:
Found a slimey sea slug! Thanks for keeping our oceans clean!
Before you know it time was up and it was time to go back to the beach.
Anyways, hope you guys had fun! It was refreshing for me to swim with people so comfortable in water, it was the most fun I’ve had in a while 😀
Next time you should give scuba diving a try if you get the chance!
Alright that’s it from me, thanks for reading, see y’all next time!!!
